Privacy and data protection
GDPR and how we handle your data
carrecovery24.uk collects and uses personal data only where it is needed to provide vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, customer support, payment handling, driver coordination, safety, legal compliance, and service records.
What data we may collect
We may collect your name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off locations, vehicle details, booking notes, payment status, messages, call records, uploaded images, location updates connected to a recovery job, and any information you give us when contacting us.
How we use data
We use data to create and manage recovery jobs, connect customers with available recovery drivers, provide quotes and updates, process payments, resolve disputes, improve our service, keep business records, and meet legal or tax obligations.
We only share the details needed for a job with the driver or contractor handling that job. We do not sell personal data.
Data retention and deletion
We keep job and customer data only for as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, accounting, legal, insurance, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and operational records.
You can ask us to delete personal data that is no longer required. Some records may need to be kept where the law, tax rules, insurance requirements, payment records, or legitimate business interests require us to retain them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you may have the right to request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and a copy of certain data in a portable format.
To make a request, include your name, contact number, booking details if available, and what you want us to review, correct, or delete.
